A Mother's Love
I've watched you grow,
From my little boy to a young man.
The tears overflow,
As I leave you to fulfill your life's plan.
I look out the window at the sky,
Feeling sad as a part of me is left behind.
I didn't want to say goodbye,
But I know yourself you have to find.
I may be miles away,
Or may not be able to see your sweet smile.
But my heart will be with you everyday,
And each time I close my eyes I will be with you for a while.
There is so much you want to do,
And even more that you want to see.
I hope and pray all your dreams come true,
