A Mothers Love

One shouldn't be so quick to roll off their tongue words of disparage
Matters of the heart should never be taken lightly such as a miscarriage
Grief is difficult enough on its own
People strive best when love and support are shown
If you can't relate try harder to understand
Dreams were crushed, this isn't what they planned
It doesn't matter that they never held them in their arms
Upon a positive result they were glowing and beaming with exquisite charm
From highest mountains peak to peak, you never saw a bigger smile
Been awaiting so long for the kind of love they'd extend and go any mile
They've already imagined kissing their precious little face
Their love they'll forever embrace
From the start, every moment they did cherish
That special kind of love never does disintegrate or perish
Mind numbing shock waves straight to the heart
Their own pulse was depleting when their child did part
Forget me nots bloom in their hearts from sorrowful confirmed fears
On the outskirts of a constant river flowing not deep enough to hold all their sacred tears
Doesn't matter fully developed fetus or not
A mothers love knows no comparison to be sought
