Love Poem: A Missing Star

A Missing Star

I miss your light, my fragile star,
And now 'I wonder where you are!'
Twelve years and more you graced my land,
Your flickering's my place to stand!
Though I daresay your light's enough
That I thank God when life gets tough.

Most precious stars have lifetime too
And there's explosion when they're thru,
They've price to pay but brightly shine,
And can't be bought, mere valentine!
One brought the news that Christ was due,
Before (like us), it faded too,

Remember, though all poets die,
'Immortals twinkle' in God's eye,
We've all a purpose in His rhyme,
Our service gets revealed in time,
Save me a place if you're there first,
Reform the fear that life is cursed!
