A Love Note
At the ATM
A begging girl -
“Excuse me”
She says to the passing people
Everyone ignores her
Including me
Until I hear her say
“How do you spell?”
“Spell what?” I say
“HEARTACHE” she says
I oblige her
On her pad she completes the sentence
“I'm sorry for causing you HEARTACHE”
