A French Kiss

“You are supposed to be loved up”
The woman whispers to the man
“You are supposed to be heartbroken”
The man whispers back to the woman

“We both come from different stages of relationships”
“Mine is at the end and yours is a new partnership”
“Where do we go from this?”
The woman asked the man as they french kissed

“We are at different stages of our relationships”
“Mine is new and you have ended your partnership”
“How do we move on from this?”
The man asked the woman as they reminisce

“What we are doing is wrong”
The woman whispered like a birdsong
“Enjoy our time together, but this has to end”
The man did not want to offend

The moral of this story is to be open and honest, not to pretend
Be honest with your partner, who should be your best friend
Love and hate are so close in reality
Honesty is the path to being set free….
