A Bitter Women's Lesson

Love, I can taste the buzz it shoots it scores in my basket
I can't believe I just dropped the ball.
Love, like pistachio Ice cream it fulfills my cravings
still leaving me craving after my last spoonful. Love,
My identity is dull forcing me to be someone else to feel
the power. Love, a mixture of words, I pressed my lips up to the
microphone, i'm speechless... can you hear me? Love.
Love, sitting in a crowded room feeling nothing but emotional
and alone. Love, a distant taste in my mouth that has me wishing
hoping for some pie. Love, i'm sailing away on a cruise... the waves
as rocky as my beating heart. Love, I can't count on you says the
bitter woman as she sleeps at night. Love, is it my imagination
or is my heart melting like soup for this stranger. Love, a strange sensation
I don't know what's going on here maybe i'm delusional. Love, as I lay
on his lap I feel paralyzed... I feel like I just can't stop this creep
that keeps knocking on my door. Love, the way this is going I don't
think I could ever be happy without him. Love, I have a new found respect
as the cruise comes back to shore. Love, The day we got married I have never
felt fuller. Love, I felt the ice around my heart slowly starting to melt and
with them my bitterness and self-doubt. Love, I love you now and I will never forget
what you've done.
